WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?
Osteopathy is a complimentary therapy based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. It is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and works with the structure and function of the body, using articulation, stretching, massage and, where appropriate, manipulation aiming to increase mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance blood supply to affected tissues and encourage healing.
